  Don't teach them about strangers or being aware of anyone touching their no-no parts.

  No warn them about a fake plastic toy and then let them go out in service, alone, with some brother you don't even know.

  The WTS and Same-Sex Marriage

  we all know the wts position on same-sex marriage, but i thought it was interesting to see this piece on its website.

  i think what intrigues me the most is that the wts approach is, as i once told the elders on my judicial committee, "inadequate, incomplete and insufficient".

  the peice then goes on to give the typical fairy-tale solution to what it perceives as a problem with the experience of someone they call "nathan" and how he was able to completely change thanks to god's holy spirit working on him.

  "My Bible Lessons" - WT feature for infants 3 and Under

  as many of you probably already know, the wts have a relatively new feature series called "my bible lessons".

  this series, which apparently began running earlier this year with the february public edition, is specifically designed for children "ages 3 and under".. caleb, of sparlock fame, makes his wt debut in the "lesson" of the august 1st, 2012 edition of the watchtower, pages 24-25. .

  in it, caleb writes a letter to a friend that is sick.

  It's Back! . . . Round 2.

  if you are an american citizen, please visit http://wh.gov/tfk and sign the "protect millions of americans from dangerous orgs: modify usc title 26 501 tax exemption requirements" petition that i created on june 1, 2012 on the white house website.

  i assume that only americans can sign this petition, but i do not know.

  it takes about 2 minutes to register and sign the petition.

  Our personal liberties and freedom mean nothing; the government doesn't care unless they feel that they're losing big bucks, relinquishing power and/or are being threatened.

  In other words they wanna know what's the problem, why should they care and what's in it for them if they do.

  A petition needs to lay out the:

  Threat: (Stealing power) Allowing high control entities who mentally, financially and physically enslave and abuse United States citizens to rule and terrorize United States Citizens usurps the rights and power of the United States government.

  Problem: (Relinquishing power and losing money) The United States is thus condoning the actions of high control groups by freeing the wealth of such entities through the granting of a tax-exempt status. This tax-exempt status also undermines the United States economy by funneling billions of dollars away from infrastructure and necessary government agencies that said entities currently use for free.

  Solution: (Instant gratification by asserting power while making more money) Removing the tax-exempt status and taxing such entities would be raising NEW revenue while helping solve the current revenue problems of the United States

  Either that or, instead of asking for a donation, they just tack on an exorbitant shipping and "handling" fee.

  You know 'cause sending those bulky heavy DVDs in a flimsy plastic case would take $14.95 to prepare and ship.
